Dr Moshe Gophen is part of the Lake Kinneret & Agmon-Hula Research group at MIGAL Galilee Research Institute, Israel. He has a BSc in zoology (1963) and MSc in botany (1966). He received his PhD in Aquatic Biology and Limnology in 1976 (Hebrew University of Jerusalem). Dr Gophen was affiliated with Kinneret Limnological Laboratory (IOLR), MIGAL Galilee Research Institute, the Tel Hai Academic College (lecturer, limnology), and the University of Oklahoma. He published 231 papers in peer-reviewed international journals, three books and 90 Israeli magazines.
